Why are no science fiction model magazines for English speakers in Europe, America, and the world? Plamo Hobby magazine was born out of such a question. PHM is a non-profit hobbyist content creation studio hoping to integrate the works of excellent designers and builders in English and show readers their design concepts and techniques.​ Through the PHM magazine, which is constantly updated, the skills and ideas in making models are presented to English users.

PHM has partnered with Vulcanhobby to help promote Plamo exhibitions, sponsors, and great creators. PHM aims to bring the beauty of science fiction and robot models to the English world and promote science fiction models.
